The project management is responsible for the strategic and operational steering of the standardisation process. In particular, it collects the results, gathers relevant information and documents on the progress made in the working groups and distributes the material among the working groups.
The project management is composed by the project coordinator and the heads of the four working groups. The members of the project management meet on a regular basis to document progress of the project and to agree on fundamental decisions. In addition, the project management organises and supervises the cooperation and communication between the working groups and the pilot institutions.
The project management merges the results of the four working groups into one specification. For this reason, it bears conceptual as well as organisational responsibility.
The overall success of the specification as a standard depends on the early and ongoing communication of the results also during the project period. The project management ensures the operative provision of information on the current process and partial results by maintaining a website with up-to-date results.
